Does not fit this my 65 Ford truck properly. It sits at an angle and not straight up.

Great looking antenna, but remember to save the firewall grommet or buy a new one since it does not come with the antenna, for the most expensive antenna they have it should include this 6 dollar part as well

I am thrilled to have purchased this antenna. Even at it's lowest setting, the radio reception is outstanding and the antenna looks great too! I'm certain the bad reviews are due to installation errors. Make sure the raised notch of the lower mounting bracket aligns with the same sized, slotted groove under the base of the antenna. If you don't, you will experience the same mounting issues as noted by the poor reviews.
