If you want to mount this cowl vent on your office wall, it would be a true conversation piece. It looks great as an artifact, but is otherwise useless! The fit was horrible on my 99 GT. First, my car had never been in a collision. thus there was no chance that the engine compartment to cowl area was "out of specs". I started the installation on the left side, then to the center. All was good at this point. Upon reaching the right side, the center of the cowl began to buckle and pop the metal clips out of their anchor slots. The right side of the cowl overlapped the top of the right front fender by 7/16". This made it impossible to get it into place without twisting the plastic causing the center of the cowl to buckle. This may be a "one off" situation, but that would be difficult for me to swallow. In any case I was forced to restore an OEM salvage yard cowl to restore the accurate look, plus I was out the $128.66 paid for the purchase. Very, very disappointed!

It showed up on time but when I tried to install it I found it was over an inch too long. I called their 800 number and Tim helped me out and really went the extra mile to try and get me another one but he said all the ones in stock are the same measurement and facilitated a return and refund. The part is made in China and somehow they got the size wrong but NPD was great about dealing with it.

Cowl cover looks great and the installation was no problem. The secret is to loosen the bolts inside the door that holds the A pillars on. With the A pillars loose the cover slips under them with no problem

It is very well fitting but the only thing writing off t there was something wrong is that it is thinker than the stick piece( I know, why is that bad?) but unless you either get new shield washer squirters or trim down the plastic around the openings your original ones do not fit any longer.
