HANDLE AND CABLE ASSY, HOOD LATCH CONTROL, REPRO, NON-LOCKING F4ZZ-16916-A
This Hood latch control handle and cable is designed to be exact reproductions of the original unit. It features the correct mounting bracket as well as the proper cable length and writing on the interior handle. So if you are not getting proper release of your hood you might need to replace your cable with one of these units.
Restoration Note:
These factory cables are held in place by clips that run along the inner fender apron inside the engine compartment. The clips often break and become brittle due to under hood heat and temperatures. See M-16916-1SK for proper mounting clips.
Note:
See M-16916-100AK for correct style mounting kit that includes the proper push style pin and hex head mounting bolt.
