This Hood latch control handle and cable is designed to be exact reproductions of the original unit. It features the correct mounting bracket as well as the proper cable length and writing on the interior handle. So if you are not getting proper release of your hood you might need to replace your cable with one of these units.

Restoration Note:

This unit is designed after the original EOTZ-16916-A Ford part number. This part number from Ford ran from 1979 thru 1982 and was replaced one time from a D9ZZ-16916-A to the EOTZ-16916-A.
