You must flush the Power Steering system completely any time components are replaced to eliminate any contamination and to validate manufacturer's warranties.Many transmission fluids available on the market do not meet manufacturer's minimum standards for friction, viscosity, corrosion or wear. Research has found the cause of many power steering related failures can be traced back to low quality fluid. Dont risk your restoration on a budget brand fluid.
