A great complement to any front disc brake system is a rear disc brake conversion kit. 15 minimum wheel size (see online listing for instructions and wheel fit template). Laser cut steel mounting brackets mount directly to the stock Ford Large Bearing mounting flange on the rear end housing. The mounting brackets position a silver zinc plated, single piston caliper over a 11 5/8 vented rotor with the factory 5 x 5 1/2 bolt pattern drilled into the rotor. Also included are the necessary rubber brake hoses and adapters making the connection between the hard lines and calipers a breeze. In addition, all of the required Grade 8 hardware is included making this a simple bolt-on installation.
See F-2A635-26MP for parking brake cable conversion kit.
Stated required wheel sizes for various disc brake kits refer to the wheel rim size needed to clear the width of the caliper within the wheel. Due to the many styles and variations of the spoke depth or wheel face design no guarantee is made as to whether the calipers will or will not interfere with the face of the wheel. Always check for proper clearance before driving. Installed disc kits cannot be returned.
